Our Minister

Reverend Christine Lowson has been a minister for near 30 years [1^st and only vocation] and has marveled often at the gift of being ordained to Word, sacrament and pastoral care.

Stories abound and she is looking forward to worship, prayerful times, cups of tea, visits, and opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world together.

Reverend Christine is a daughter, a sister, a mom, a friend, a partner and a woman of faith.

She enjoys reading daily devotions and library books and her flower garden is another sanctuary. She walks, hikes, cycles and swims.

Reverend Christine is motivated by something Rabbi Abraham Heschel offered years ago:

“Never once in my life did I ask God for success or wisdom or power or fame. I asked for wonder, and he gave it to me.”  She prayerfully tries to pay attention to the wonder God offers in this life.  It’s amazing where it pops up!
